Do an exciting thing? What an awful goal.

Media says, "Your life can be exciting, too" There's so much media out there telling you to have goals and telling you that you can do "exciting things". Now, at first, I didn't really think much about this and would even consume this media telling me what I can do to make my life more exciting. I get so pumped up and, then, when I try to implement the things recommended, nothing lasts for very long, or I can't even start. My expectations have gotten so high that when I start and I don't immediately feel the exciting results, I stop and feel miserable. Then, when I feel miserable, I think that those people can do those things because they have a big following, they have lost of friends, they live in an exciting place, or they have money. And I think my life is oh so ordinary, I don't have a lot of friends (I prefer fewer friends than a whole bunch of people, actually), and I'm not famous or even known to a lot of people in real life. Sharing Onions for Free Speech? Watch Out

You can't share onions freely, not really. I mean opinions, not onions. Sharing onions because you feel entitled to free speech will most certainly get you into trouble especially if you're already famous. So many famous people have gotten themselves in hot water by sharing opinions because of "free speech". It's their own doing. Their own downfall. They should've known better but apparently, they didn't. And now some of them are oh so sorry they are being "cancelled" and criticized. They're not sorry to the people they have hurt. Well, maybe some of them are, but some of them aren't. Free speech doesn't mean you get to be mean and disrespectful to people. Free speech isn't a "pass GO and collect 200" card. You are allowed to voice your concerns and harsh criticism RESPECTFULLY. You are allowed to advocate for a cause you believe in like calling out a company for racism or harsh working environments. You are allowed to, ...

Disagree with a Millennial, but be nice.

This is an experiment. If you find this, hi, I'm a millennial with opinions. You are free to disagree with me, but be nice :) We're all kind humans here, aren't we? I have written blogs in the past. About 7 years ago, I stopped because I wasn't into it anymore. I didn't have anything to say, and there was no point in dragging something out if I no longer felt enjoyment either. I am 31 (as of 2024 and it's months before my 32nd birthday). I have opinions now. I want to share them, but I don't know if I want to make a video or what. So, we're here. Here's some stuff about me. I'm a writer of around 15 years. YA Fantasy, mostly. Sometimes dark fantasy, sometimes I attempt comedy fantasy. Sometimes, I try to not write fantasy and fail miserably. It's engrained into my brain to write fantasy. Do I have a book out? Not yet. Maybe when you see this blog, I will. I plan on making one this year (2024). My debut. It'll be great. YA portal fantasy ...
